A Protective Use In Every Season

All Hawthorns coldframes can be used all year round:

In Spring for hardening off plants and seedlings.

In Summer for protecting tender plants such as salad leaves from children, pets and the weather. They also provide protection for new cuttings.

In Autumn and Winter they'll provide protection for semi-hardy perennials, as well as allowing the salad crop season to be extended right into winter. Hawthorns coldframes can be used as a large cloche for winter protection.
