Unique Hawthorns Lid Design

The lids use 'twin walled' polycarbonate which is safer than glass and weather resistant with good heat insulation, excellent light penetration and dispersion (to avoid plant scorching). Hinges with removable pins enable complete lid removal in seconds. Two levels of propped opening are provided.

Lids slope to catch as much light as possible and ensure good rain run-off, with a front edge designed to prevent water being trapped on the lid. Aluminium reinforcement is used to prevent warping over time and for easy 'one handed' lid opening.
