No screwdrivers are needed! Hawthorns coldframes use bolts and wing nuts which can be tightened by hand. These ensure good rigidity once the coldframe is assembled, which only takes a few minutes to complete.

The lids are fitted quickly, using two removable pins.

All our coldframes can be easily undone if they need to be moved or stored.
